Second: Department of Schools

It consists of the following sections

  • Quran Teaching Schools Section
  • Examinations and Student Affairs Section
  • Vocational Training  Section
  • Educational Supervision Section

It performs the following functions and competences:

  • Monitoring the implementation of rules and regulations related to examinations and student affairs in schools affiliated to the Centre in Dhofar governorate.
  • Managing, supervising and correcting quarterly exams of the school students related to the center in Dhofar Governorate.
  • Adopting the Dhofar governorate school student outcome related to the center, and following up on their learning and teachers’ performance. Preparing and submitting periodic reports on their performance and developing proposals, in addition to exerting assiduous efforts to ensure the development of their performance levels in coordination with the center’s competent authorities.
  • Adopting, supervising and evaluating student competitions and activities for schools affiliated to the Centre in Dhofar governorate.
  • Overseeing the internal houses at the schools affiliated to the Centre in Dhofar governorate and checking the services provided there.
  • Overseeing the learning process at the center’s Dhofar governorate schools, and providing technical and professional support to their employees to help them perform their duties.
  • Providing all necessary services for schools affiliated to the Centre in Dhofar governorate so that they work properly to achieve the desired goals.
  • Creating a database for faculty and administrative body members of the Centre in Dhofar governorate schools, and for the students enrolled in the center's schools in Dhofar and their achievements.
  • Identifying and checking the needs of workers in schools affiliated to the Centre in Dhofar governorate from administrators to faculty members.
  • Following-up on educational developments and informing the members of the administrative and teaching staff in educational institutions of the center about them.
  • Preparing semi-annual reports on the progress of education in schools affiliated to the Centre in Dhofar governorate and on problems and difficulties that have been detected and suggesting appropriate solutions.
  • Participating in the implementation of field studies to address some of the problems that hinder the educational work in educational institutions of the center.
  • Overseeing the functioning of the center’s vocational training in Dhofar governorate, and providing technical and professional support to their employees as well as ensuring all the necessary services to enable them to perform their tasks properly.
